Our fast-response promise: We call you back within 24 hours.
You own your insurance claim. As your roofing contractor, here’s what we do:
We want to be upfront. WOW KC is a roofing and exterior contractor, not a public adjuster or an attorney. We never negotiate your claim on your behalf, we can’t promise your claim will be approved, and we never waive or cover your deductible. Coverage decisions are made by your insurance company under the terms of your policy. If you need someone to represent you in a claim dispute, consider a licensed public adjuster or attorney.
WOW KC offers free storm damage inspections and insurance-related roof repairs throughout the Kansas City metro, including Kansas City, Overland Park, Olathe, Lee’s Summit, Independence, Blue Springs, and Liberty.
Before you file, find out what you’re dealing with. Call 816-867-0004 (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM), email office@wow-kc.com, or fill out the form below. We call you back within 24 hours.
Many homeowners schedule a roof inspection first to find out whether there’s storm damage worth claiming. Then they contact their insurance company to file. Either way, check your policy for any deadlines for reporting damage.
It depends on your policy, the cause of the damage, and the age and condition of your roof. Many policies cover sudden damage from events like hail or wind but not normal wear and tear. Only your insurance company can confirm what your policy covers.
No. You own your claim, and WOW KC is a roofing contractor, not a public adjuster. We inspect, document damage with photos, and bid the work, but we never negotiate or settle claims on your behalf.
No. Your deductible is part of your insurance policy and is your responsibility to pay. Be cautious of any contractor who offers to cover or waive it.
Some policies pay part of a claim up front and hold back an amount for depreciation until the work is finished. If your policy includes recoverable depreciation, your insurer releases it after the work is complete and the final invoice is submitted, according to your policy terms.
You can ask your insurance company to explain the decision in writing and review your policy. Some homeowners request a re-inspection or consult a licensed public adjuster or attorney. WOW KC can still provide a repair estimate if you decide to move forward on your own, and financing is available through Foundation Finance Company LLC, subject to credit approval.
In general, you can choose your own licensed contractor. Check your policy and talk with your insurance company if you have questions.

WOW KC was recommended by a neighbor, and now I know why. From day one, they were clear, responsive, and genuinely helpful. They replaced our old vinyl siding with fiber cement, and it’s completely changed the look of our home. They helped us understand the pros and cons of every option, and never once pushed us toward the most expensive one. This is a company that actually listens—and delivers. I couldn’t be happier.

After hearing horror stories about window companies, I was hesitant, but WOW KC changed my mind completely. Their consultation was informative without being pushy, and they took the time to answer all our questions. The windows were custom-made, installed flawlessly, and look incredible. Best of all, they’ve held up perfectly through heavy winds and storms. This is one of the few companies I’d confidently recommend to anyone.
